DODA, OCTOBER 26:- The Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Doda conducted Skill Convocation Ceremony 2024 for its pass out students here today. Chief Guest, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sudershan Kumar felicitated the Trade wise toppers with mementoes & Certificates.

Superintendent, Er. Naresh Singh gave a brief account of training courses offered by ITI Doda in diverse Trades of One Year/Two Year durations, besides short-term skill training courses under PMKVY, PM Vishwakarma Surya Ghar, SANKALP etc.

He informed that 106 Candidates out of 126 candidates who appeared in the All India Trade Computer Based Test (CBT) successfully completed their training in 07 different trades.

He congratulated all the successful candidates as well as their respective instructors who contributed to their success.

Representatives from District Employment & Counselling Centre (DECC) also congratulated the pass out candidates. He informed the participants about the ample employment opportunities waiting for them and asked to get the full benefit of all the youth related schemes started by the Central & JKUT Government.

He gave a detailed review of different Self Employment Schemes being run by the Labour & Employment Department like Mumkin, Tejaswani, Spurring etc especially Women related schemes and assured every possible help to all the interested candidates.

The Chief Guest in his address expressed his gratitude for having the opportunity to be present at the Convocation ceremony.

He congratulated the passed-out trainees who by their hard work and perseverance had achieved culmination in their academic pursuit and asked them to make the best use of their knowledge to attain professional success.

He also appreciated the performance of the institution in imparting quality training in different trades. He commended the outgoing students for their determination and drive to succeed and highlighted the importance of ITIs in providing skill training to youth. He stressed on the need for innovative business ideas using their hard-earned National Trade Certificates including setting up small business, startups and entrepreneurship to have a better future.

He concluded his address with his best wishes to Superintendent ITI Doda and his dedicated team for their contribution and hard work towards the development of ITI Doda.

Lastly, the Convocation Ceremony culminated with distribution of NTC & PNTC Certificates to all the passed-out trainees. Er. Naresh Singh along with staff of ITI Doda facilitated the Chief Guest by presenting the memento.
