RAJOURI, APRIL 03: A massive Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign was today launched in Thannamandi and Gambhir Brahmana areas to spread awareness among the voters.
The District SVEEP team collaborated with SVEEP 87-Thannamandi to conduct comprehensive door-to-door campaign on the outskirts of Thannamandi, with a focus on Ward 10, 11, and 12. Simultaneously, another District SVEEP Team mobilized efforts in Gambhir Brahmana for the same cause.
Under the supervision of District Election Officer Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat, the teams, comprising Prof. Manzoor Ahmed Dar, Prof. Khalid Rayaz, Prof. Ajaz Nazir, Mohammad Ayaz Raina, Suhail Malik, Mushtaq Ahmed and Aftab Shawl, led by DNO SVEEP Prof. Mohammad Iqbal Raina, engaged tirelessly with residents and passers-by in Thannamandi and Gambhir Brahmana.
The primary objective of the campaign was to highlight the importance of right to vote, enshrined in the constitution. Members of both teams imparted valuable knowledge about the importance of participation in voting process, underscoring the significance of every registered voter exercising their franchise.
The District SVEEP team reiterated its unwavering commitment to ensure widespread participation in upcoming elections and encourage all eligible voters to fulfill their civic duty by casting their vote.
