SHOPIAN, MAY 17: The District Administration Shopian today organised two training programmes for Election Staff (PO, P1, P2 and P3) of Zainapora AC of Anantnag-Rajouri Parliamentary Constituency (PC) at Mini Secretariat and Government Degree College, here.

The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Shopian, Dr. Nasir Ahmed Lone while chairing the training programme at Mini Secretariat emphasized the staff to ensure conduct of elections in a free, fair and transparent manner.

A training programme was also organised in the Auditorium Hall of Government Degree College, Shopian where polling staff viz. P1, P2 and P3 of AC Zainapora were imparted training.

The programme aimed to enhance the preparedness of staff for upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, in Zainapora AC of Anantnag-Rajouri Parliamentary Constituency ensuring efficient, transparent and smooth conduct of elections.
Master Trainers, Irfan Ahmed and Bilal Ahmed imparted training to the polling staff. The training session also featured demonstrations by master trainers on the proper sealing, installation, and functioning of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

The polling staff were also sensitized about their crucial roles and duties during the electoral process, while adhering to the guidelines of ECI to ensure the integrity of the electoral process.
Nodal Officer, Training, Manzoor Ahmad, other concerned were also present on the occasion.
