ANANTNAG, MARCH 28: To ensure compliance with market regulations and protect consumer interests during the holy month of Ramadan, a rigorous market inspection was conducted today under the guidance of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Anantnag, Fayaz Ahmad Banday.
The inspection team comprised Tehsildar Anantnag, EO Municipal Committee Anantnag, and representatives from the Enforcement Committee of Municipal Committee and officials of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.
During the inspection, a thorough assessment was conducted on multiple fronts including pricing accuracy, product quality, hygiene standards and licensing compliance. Any discrepancies found during the process were duly documented, and appropriate actions will be taken within the purview of the established legal framework.
