JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 20: A mega health camp was held today at Sub District Hospital RS Pura under Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan.
Member Legislative Assembly R S Pura Dr Narender Raina attended the camp as the chief guest. He was welcomed by the Director Health Services Jammu Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar. CMO Jammu Dr. Harbaksh Singh, STO Dr. Jyoti Jolly and BMO R S Pura Dr Balwinder Singh were present on the occasion.
At the camp, the local residents were provided General OPD consultation, NCD Screening, Mental Health Counselling, Anemia Screening, Ayush OPD, ABHA ID’s generation, Immunization and ANC services, Sputum Sampling and Nikshay ID generation.
A team of medicos comprising Dr Laghi Bhan (Anaesthetic), Dr.Renu Manhas (Gynaecologist) and Dr.Vikramjeet (Paediatrician) gave information to the locals about the campaign.
Nikshay Poshan was also distributed among the beneficiaries in the presence of STO Dr.Jyoti Jolly.
The MLA took the round of the camp and appreciated the Health Department’s initiative, while urging everyone to participate in the campaign. The BMO presented the vote of thanks to present dignitaries.
