RAJOURI, JUNE 19: The Motor Vehicles Department Rajouri conducted an enforcement drive to ensure compliance with the Motor Vehicles Act and Rules.
Of 252 vehicles checked, 22 violators were e-challaned, three vehicles were seized and suspension of five driving licences was recommended. A fine of ₹87,000 was imposed on defaulting vehicles.
The drive was conducted by the enforcement team under the supervision of ARTO Rajouri Ashiq Rafiq Malik, comprising Motor Vehicle Inspector Er Lakhvinder Singh Chib, Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector Er Neetan Singh and other officials.
