KULGAM, APRIL 20: Under the 100 day campaign of Nasha Mukt Bharat, an awareness and outreach programme under Mission YUVA today conducted at D.H. Pora, Norabad, Qaimoo with a special focus on holding awareness sessions for individuals and families affected by drug abuse.
The programme aimed to sensitize participants about the harmful effects of drug addiction and guide those victimized by drugs towards awareness, support, and available rehabilitation measures.
During the session, emphasis was also laid on promoting youth entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities. Participants were informed about various government schemes, financial assistance programmes, and skill development initiatives available for youth under Mission YUVA.
Resource persons encouraged youth to adopt productive livelihoods and stay away from substance abuse.
Interactive discussions were also held during the programme, during which participants shared their concerns and queries, which were addressed by the resource persons.
The programme witnessed active participation from local youth and community members and concluded with a positive response from the attendees.
