Srinagar, Feb 29, ; In a significant development, members of the district development council (DDC) Budgam have moved a no-confidence motion against the incumbent chairperson of the council.
According to Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Dot Com at least 13 members have submitted the no-confidence motion against Chairperson Nazir Khan. Khan is an Independent candidate.
The no-confidence motion has been moved days after the Jammu & Kashmir government came up with the rules to remove chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of the councils.
