Old motar shells defused in Kulgam

Kulgam: Security forces on Friday evening recovered and diffused four rusted mortar shells from Qaimoh area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam, official said.
They said that acting on a tip off, joint team of army’s 1 RR, police found four live mortar shells besides other material in the plant nursery at Toliowpora Nopora area of Qaimoh this evening.
“Security forces later destroyed shells through a controlled explosion,” the official added.
