DODA, DECEMBER 10: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Harvinder Singh, a one-day training programme on Poshan Tracker and Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) was conducted today at the Conference Hall, DC Office Complex.
The initiative aimed at strengthening the implementation, monitoring and delivery of key maternal and child welfare schemes across the district. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation of Anganwadi Workers, Supervisors, CDPOs and field functionaries from all project zones.
Resource experts from Jammu conducted detailed technical sessions, focusing on real-time data uploading through the Poshan Tracker application, troubleshooting common issues and ensuring timely and accurate data entry for effective monitoring and service delivery. Participants were also sensitized about PMMVY guidelines, including beneficiary eligibility, documentation requirements and the scheme’s significance in promoting maternal health and financial support to pregnant and lactating women.
Speaking on the occasion, ADDC Doda, Roshan Lal, highlighted that efficient use of the Poshan Tracker would enhance transparency, streamline service delivery and contribute significantly toward reducing malnutrition among children, pregnant women and lactating mothers. He stressed the need for coordinated efforts at the grassroots level to improve nutritional outcomes across the district.
The programme marks a key step toward strengthening the ICDS system in Doda and improving district-level nutritional indicators.
The event was attended by ADDC Doda, Roshan Lal, ADC Doda, Anil Kumar Thakur, GM DIC Doda, Ashfaq Khanji, PO ICDS, Akhtar Qazi, along with CDPOs, Supervisors and Anganwadi Workers from all project areas.
