UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER 25: Marking a significant step towards integrating education with nutrition for holistic child development, Poshan Project Majalta today initiated the “Poshan Bhi Padhai Bhi” training program here in the Community Facility Centre Battal.

The training is being conducted under the guidance of District Programme Officer, Poshan Subash Chander Dogra and coordinated by Child Development Project Officer Poshan Project Majalta Aamir Bashir Runyal.

The training has been designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of Anganwadi workers, equipping them to impart early childhood education to children alongside nutritional interventions. The program is being conducted in two batches, with the first batch comprising 70 Anganwadi workers.

Expert guidance is being provided by Master Trainers, Prinka Sharma and Joti Kumari, who are delivering sessions to ensure that participants gain a thorough understanding of integrating educational activities within the framework of the Poshan scheme.

The Anganwadi workers are being trained to implement educational activities alongside nutritional support to promote the cognitive, physical and emotional growth of children.

The program aims to strengthen the role of Anganwadi workers as educators and caregivers, empowering them to deliver impactful early childhood education.

Officials from the CDPO Office are actively supervising and monitoring the training sessions to ensure the seamless execution of the program and adherence to its objectives.

This initiative is part of the broader mission of the “Poshan Bhi Padhai Bhi” campaign, which seeks to bridge the gap between nutrition and education in rural communities.
