Prelude to 10th Int’l Day of Yoga 2024: Ayush Doda hosts Yoga Camp

DODA, MAY 16: Department of AYUSH in collaboration with District Administration Doda organized a Yoga Camp here in the Indoor stadium as a prelude to 10th International Day of Yoga 2024.
The Yoga activity themed “Yoga for women Empowerment” was attended by the students from Government Girls Higher Secondary School.

The Yoga camp was conducted under the guidance of the Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh and Director Ayush J&K, Dr. Mohan Singh and supervised by District Ayush Officer Dr. Ajay Kumar Tikoo.
About seventy students from Government Girls Higher Secondary School participated in the event and the theme based Yoga Asanas were demonstrated by Yogi Anil Kumar, Dr. Nidhi Padha, Nawaz and Kem Kumar.

Eleven year old Diva was the highlight of the event as she demonstrated all yoga Asanas before the students.
At the end of the yoga session, the District Ayush officer thanked the Chief Education officer, District Youth services and Sports officer, District Information officer, Principal Government Girls Higher Secondary School and participating students for their efforts in making this program a grand success.
