Chief Education Officer Doda Parkash Lal Thapa said the move is aimed at improving the education system and the well-being of students.

The parent-teacher meetings have become a regular feature in government schools of Jammu and Kashmir.
Schools of District Doda conducted parent-teacher meetings on the theme “Role of Parents in prevention of Drug Abuse among School going Students” along with understanding NEP 2020.

Parents were also made aware of various aspects of life skills. “The role of parents and teachers has become very important for the lives of students.

Along with Shiksha Saptah celebration of 4th anniversary of NEP 2020 various interventions were embarked for understanding the concept and features of NEP 2020 among the stakeholders i.e Parents Students and Teachers. The feedback by parents helps boost the education in government schools.
