BHADERWAH, MAY 24: The District Industries Centre (DIC), under the guidance of General Manager S. Paramjeet Singh, organized a RAMP Awareness-cum-On-Spot Udyam Registration Camp at Community Hall, Bhaderwah.

The event was part of the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme to support and empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Jammu & Kashmir.

The main goal of the programme was to raise awareness about various government schemes, promote Udyam registration, and support aspiring entrepreneurs. A large number of entrepreneurs participated, including many who registered their enterprises on the spot with the help of representatives from different departments.

Officers from Handicrafts and Handlooms, JKEDI, JKTPO, and CSCs departments took part in the event. Key speakers Tarun Sudan, Jatinder Bharti, and Neeraj Sharma informed participants about the benefits of Udyam registration and guided them through the process.

General Manager S. Paramjeet Singh highlighted the importance of formalizing MSMEs to access financial support, market linkages, and other government assistance. He stated that connecting entrepreneurs with the MSME ecosystem is essential for building a strong and competitive business environment in the region.

The DIC thanked all participating departments and stakeholders and assured that such outreach activities would continue in other parts of the district to support local entrepreneurs.
