Revenue Data: Govt Forms TAC To Recommend Methodology

Srinagar: The Government on Thursday constituted Technical Appraisal Committee (TAC) for the project Selection of Service Provider for Scanning, Digitization and uploading of Legacy Data of the Revenue Department.

With Saleem Khan, State Informatics Officer, NIC as Chairman, the members of the panel include Deepak Wasan, Executive Director, NIELIT, Muhammad Irfan, System Analyst, Central University Kashmir and Abid Sajad Munshi, EDP Supervisor, IT Department.

According to an order by government, Munshi has been asked to coordinate with all the members to ensure timely submission recommendations of the Committee.

The Committee has been asked to provide recommendations regarding the methodology and technology proposed in RFP.

“The Committee may also give its recommendations/ suggestions on the viability of the proposed solutions of the RFP,” reads the order, a copy of which lies with GNS, adding, “Abid Sajad Munshi, EDP Supervisor, IT Department shall ensure the timely submission of TAC report along with duly signed RFP to the concerned authority for further appropriates in the matter.” (GNS)
