KATHUA, MAY 13: A meeting of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital (MGH), Kathua was today held under the chairmanship of MLA Dr. Bharat Bhushan in the office chamber of the Chief Medical Officer.
The meeting discussed the functioning and development of the hospital in detail, while a number of proposals were placed before the Simiti for approval. The discussions centered on strengthening healthcare services, infrastructure up-gradation and meeting staff shortage.
The members stressed on improvement of sanitation, advanced diagnostic services and timely availability of essential medicines for patients.
Speaking at the meeting, the MLA appreciated the efforts of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vijay Raina and the hospital administration for their commitment towards improving healthcare services. He stressed the need for coordinated efforts among all concerned departments to further strengthen healthcare facilities and ensure efficient and quality service delivery to the public. He directed the stakeholder departments to work in close coordination for timely execution of developmental works and early redressal of issues affecting hospital functioning. All agenda items were unanimously approved by the members present.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vijay Raina expressed gratitude to all participants for their active involvement and valuable suggestions aimed at improving healthcare services in the district.
