SAMBA, NOVEMBER 06: The District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) meeting was convened here the other day to scrutinize loan applications submitted by unemployed youth of the district under the J&K Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP).
The flagship self-employment scheme is being implemented by the J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board.
The committee reviewed the submitted applications and approved 23 of them. Additionally, 12 applications were deferred for consideration at the next meeting. Key attendees included District Officer KVIB , Farhat Nigeen; representatives from the District Industries Centre (DIC) Samba, State Bank of India (SBI), J&K Bank, and J&K Grameen Bank; as well as the Superintendent of the ITI.
