During his visit, the Minister accompanied by MLA Banihal Sajad Shaheen inspected the Yatra camps at Banihal, Ramban and Chanderkote, where he undertook a comprehensive review of the facilities being provided to the pilgrims. He paid particular attention to the quality, hygiene and availability of food being served at the langars and community kitchens, while also assessing the overall arrangements relating to accommodation, sanitation, drinking water, medical assistance and other essential amenities.

Interacting warmly with the yatris, Satish Sharma enquired about their well-being and sought firsthand feedback regarding the services and facilities being provided at the camps. He assured the pilgrims that the Jammu and Kashmir Government is committed to ensuring a safe, comfortable and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage experience for every devotee.

The Minister also interacted with officials and personnel deployed at the camps, directing them to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety and public service. He emphasized that all departments must work in close coordination to ensure seamless arrangements throughout the Yatra period and respond promptly to the needs of the pilgrims.

Satish Sharma reiterated that the government remains fully committed to providing quality food supplies, efficient public services and robust logistical support at all Yatra locations. He said every effort is being made to ensure that the pilgrims experience the warmth, hospitality and devotion for which Jammu and Kashmir is renowned.

The visiting pilgrims expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made at the camps and appreciated the quality of food, cleanliness, medical facilities and the dedicated efforts of the administration. They thanked the Minister for personally visiting the camps, interacting with them and reviewing the facilities on the ground, describing the arrangements as well-organised and pilgrim-friendly.
