The event was held under the leadership of Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary Director School Education Jammu and Director SCERT J&K and under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Sindhu Kapoor, Joint Director, SCERT Jammu Division,

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from all 20 District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) of the Union Territory along with teams from both SCERT Divisional Offices, reflecting a strong collective commitment towards strengthening technology-integrated education.

The session commenced with a welcome address by DIKSHA Coordinator SCERT Jammu Vivek Jandial, who outlined the objectives of the programme and emphasised the need to enhance the effective utilisation of DIKSHA across the Union Territory.

In her address, Prof. (Dr.) Sindhu Kapoor described the initiative as a timely and forward-looking step towards embedding emerging technologies in education. She highlighted DIKSHA as a transformative platform aligned with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, promoting competency-based and learner-centric pedagogy through AI-enabled tools and PAL courses. She urged the DIETs and other stakeholders to adopt a proactive and outcome-driven approach for effective dissemination and implementation.

The session was further enriched by the addresses of Prof. Indu Kumar and Dr. Rejaul Karim, National DIKSHA Coordinators, who underscored the transformative potential of DIKSHA as a dynamic digital learning platform and highlighted key national-level initiatives shaping the evolving digital ecosystem in education.

The programme featured technical sessions by members of the DIKSHA PMU Team, including Abhinay Pratap Singh and Ankit Asthana, who provided a comprehensive overview of the platform.

Demonstrations included AI-powered features such as Ask DIKSHA (Chat with Books), AI-based video keyword search, DIKSHA Read Aloud and translation tools, along with navigation of DIKSHA courses, PAL courses and coupon-based course functionality.

The event also witnessed active participation from the Kashmir Division, coordinated by Dr. Amarpreet Kour, DIKSHA Coordinator, ensuring pan-UT representation and collaboration.

The programme was actively supported by the SCERT Jammu team, comprising Reeta Charak (Assistant Professor), Dr. Bhuvi, Dr. Seema, Arsh Kour and Roopse Kapoor, whose collective efforts contributed significantly to its successful organisation.
