JAMMU, APRIL 23: A pledge for a “Drug-Free India” programme was held today at SDRF Battalion Headquarters, Jammu. DIG CD & SDRF, Jammu Anita Sharma chaired the session in presence of Commandant SDRF 2nd Bn Mohammad Aslam, officers and officials of the BN Hqrs.
All SDRF personnel, CD Wardens and volunteers took solemn pledge to aware and educate the public about the disastrous consequences of drugs and how to avoid it. They reaffirmed their commitment to combat drug abuse and promote a healthy, drug-free society.
On the occasion, the Commandant SDRF, expressed gratitude to the DIG CD & SDRF Jammu for attending the pledge programme and highlighted the serious impact of drug addiction on individuals and society in future. He focused on sensitizing all officers, officials and CD wardens/Volunteers about its harmful consequences and urged them to stay away from drugs and actively contribute towards building a drug-free nation.
