Secy RDD condoles demise of AEE Rehmat Shah, attends Fateh Khawani in Uri

URI, MAY 04: Secretary Rural Development Department (RDD) and Panchayati Raj, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, on Saturday condoled the demise of Syed Rehmat Shah, Assistant Executive Engineer, Rural Engineering Wing (REW), who passed away in Srinagar, following an ailment, while in service.
Shah, who had served the department for over three decades, was currently posted as Technical Officer to the SE REW Kashmir.

Secretary, Rural Development Department (RDD) and Panchayati Raj, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary along with Shabir Hussain Bhat, Director, RDD Kashmir, Er Aamir Ali, Superintending Engineer (SE) REW Kashmir, Executive Engineers REW, Assistant Commissioner Development Baramulla, Block Development Officer, AEE REW Uri, and other officers and staff from RDD, paid their respects and expressed their condolences to the bereaved family and participated in the Fateh Khawani of deceased at Kamalkote Uri.

Dr Shahid offered his heartfelt condolences to the family and expressed his prayers for the departed soul.
He said that the loss of Shah is deeply felt within the RDD community, and his contributions to the department over the years will be remembered with gratitude and respect.
Meanwhile, the Rural Development Department (RDD) mourned the passing of Syed Rehmat Shah.
