RAJOURI, MAY 4: The Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) team of Rajouri, under the guidance of District Election Officer, Om Prakash Bhagat organises a Voters’ awareness event here in the Government Boys Higher Secondary School.

The programme was organized by Nodal Officer SVEEP Mohammad Iqbal Raina.
Later, a signature campaign was also held at the Pink polling station at GBHSS. The Principal of the School welcomed the audience. Lecturer and member of SVEEP team Mohammad Ayaz Raina highlighted the importance of voter awareness and participation.

The programme aimed to sensitize citizens, especially young eligible voters, about the election process and their role in strengthening the democratic system.

The importance of registering as voters and ethical voting practices were emphasized. The signature campaign was held on the theme “I promise to vote for greater democracy.” The attendees were encouraged to commit to ethical voting and deter any illegal or unethical activities during the election process.
The SVEEP team encouraged the public to participate actively in the electoral process and exercise their democratic right to vote.
