“District Admin Ramban conducts series of activities to promote wellness, cleanliness, sustainable development”

RAMBAN, SEPTEMBER 26: Continuing the celebration of Sewa Parv-2025, the District Administration Ramban, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, organises a series of activities to promote environmental protection, cleanliness, sustainable development and social awareness.

The Health Department organized a series of specialized health camps under the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan’ with a special focus on women and children. The camps were held at NTPHC Senabati, AAM SC Noora Pogal and AAM SC Bassan.

Services provided during these camps included NCD screening for hypertension, diabetes and cancers (oral, breast and cervical), ANC check-ups for pregnant women, screening for anaemia and tuberculosis, child vaccinations, Nikshay Mitra enrolment, counselling sessions on menstrual hygiene, nutrition and other health programmes, as well as generation of AB-PMJAY and Vay Vandana Cards.

At Government Middle School Kassal, Block Sanasar , a plantation and cleanliness drive was organized with active participation from students, staff and officials. The Divisional Forest Office Batote conducted plant distribution at Gandhri Range, Bhatan, while the Agriculture Department Ramban held an awareness programme on organic farming and soil health management at Gool.

Simultaneously, cleanliness and garbage removal drives were carried out across Ukhral, Batote, Sangaldan, Rajgarh, Banihal, Gundi Dharam and Ramsoo blocks, mobilizing enthusiastic community participation.

The Animal Husbandry Department Ramban also organised awareness programmes at Ukhral and Dhalwas on credit-linked schemes including KCC, HADP, AHDIF, IDDS and IPDP to empower livestock farmers and facilitate easy access to institutional credit.

The day-long activities under Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan and Sewa Parv-2025 reflected the collective commitment of the district administration, government departments, institutions and local communities towards building a healthier, greener, cleaner and economically empowered Ramban.
