SHOPIAN, AUGUST 07: The Department of Sheep Husbandry, Shopian today organized a Medicine Distribution Camp under the National Animal Disease Control Programme (NADCP) at Alpine Pasture Dubjan.
During the programme, free medicine kits were distributed among sheep farmers, aimed at promoting animal health.
On the occasion, the participants were imparted awareness regarding scientific livestock management practices at Highland pastures.
Dr. Tariq Ahmad Malik, District Sheep Husbandry Officer Shopian; Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Khanday, Sheep and Wool Development Officer Shopian; Dr. Maqsood Ahmad Rather, Technical Officer District Sheep Husbandry Office Shopian; Dr. Humayun Rashid, Controlling Officer, Summer Camp Dubjan and other officials of the Department were present at the camp.
