SHOPIAN, AUGUST 13: Sankalp Hub for Empowerment of Women (SHEW), Mission Shakti Shopian today organised an awareness camp at Chotipora Shopian to educate and sensitise women about a range of welfare schemes and opportunities for empowerment.
The programme highlighted key initiatives including pension schemes, employment-generating opportunities, and skill development programmes designed to foster economic self-reliance among women. Special emphasis was placed on the Women Helpline Number 181 and the Child Helpline Number 1098, enabling participants to access timely support in cases of distress.
Women participants actively engaged in the session sharing their concerns and challenges. The organisers took note of their grievances for onward communication to the concerned authorities, ensuring their voices are heard and addressed.
