SHOPIAN, FEBRUARY 03: Shishir Gupta, today assumed the charge as Deputy Commissioner (D C) Shopian, succeeding Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar.
Shishir Gupta, who formerly served as the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, assumed the charge in presence of senior officers of the district administration.
He was warmly welcomed by the officers including ADDC, Dr. Nasir Ahmed; ACR, Shakoor Ahmad Dar and other officers.
The Deputy Commissioner expressed gratitude to the gathering of officers and officials present on the occasion.
Later, Deputy Commissioner chaired an introductory meeting with district & sectoral officers at Mini-Secretariat.
While addressing the officers, the DC emphasized the importance of providing hassle-free public services and urged them to perform their duties with dedication and transparency to meet public expectations.
He urged officers to work in close coordination to achieve the developmental goals of the district.
