Jammu: Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit has announced to take out Jan Sampark Yatra in all the five Lok Sabha seats of Jammu and Kashmir under the “Pahale Adhikaar Phir Sarakaar” campaign   on 9th March from Srinagar (Kashmir).  Along with this, it has announced to field its candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections with the resolution of granting special status to Jammu and Kashmir and reinstatement of locals.
In a press conference organized at the Press Club of Jammu today, State Chief Manish Sahni said that with the abrogation of Article 370 on August 5, 2019, the status of the state was taken away along with dividing the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir state established by the Dogra rulers into two parts.
With its early return, the people will be given peace, development, huge investments, employment, better education, health etc.
The beginning of a new political era was also promised.  Despite a long gap of four and a half years, the above promises made to the people were not fulfilled.
Sahni said that in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the people have a better chance to seek answers to the promises made to them.
Sahni said that from March 9, will flag off the Jan Sampark Yatra under the “ Pehele Adhikaar Phir Sarkar” campaign from the Press Enclave of Srinagar.  This yatra will be organized at the district level.  After Kashmir division, the yatra will be organized in Jammu on March 16. Answering a question regarding taking part in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Sahni said that our candidates are gearing up to contest the elections with the resolve to restore the rights of the local people and are waiting to get the green signal from the party’s high command. On this occasion president mehila wing Meenakshi Chhibber, Vice president Sanjeev Kohli, President Kamghar Raj Singh, Organiser Imran Shekh were present.
