UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 22: Government ITI Udhampur on Monday organized a Skill Demo day as part of the nationwide Sewa Parv initiative, an outreach campaign dedicated to promoting skill development, vocational awareness and youth empowerment.
The program witnessed active participation from over 400 individuals, including 150 students from government high and higher secondary schools and 250 trainees from the host Institute.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh Chib was the Chief Guest. He emphasized the pivotal role of vocational education in creating a self-reliant, industry-ready workforce. He highlighted the importance of bridging the gap between academic learning and employability through hands-on skill training.
Participants showcased their technical expertise, creativity and innovation through live demonstrations across multiple trades, reflecting the practical competencies nurtured under the Skill India Mission.
Superintendent Ravinder Singh Bhatti outlined the objectives and significance of Skill Demo day, reaffirming the institute’s commitment to empowering youth through skill-based education in alignment with national development goals.
