KATHUA, SEPTEMBER 26: On 10th day of the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar (SNSP) campaign, the Health Department, under the supervision of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vijay Raina, organised as many as 15 specialized health camps at various health institutions across the Kathua district.
Additionally, 183 routine health camps were also organized in different villages, benefitting a total of 2019 persons with comprehensive healthcare services.
The campaign focuses on creating awareness and providing services in key areas including ANC check-ups, safe pregnancy counseling, immunization and child health, POSHAN initiatives, adolescent health, non-communicable diseases, cancer screening, eye/ENT/dental and geriatric care, tuberculosis screening, AB-PMJAY and Vay Vandana card distribution, blood donor registration, safe blood donation practices and AYUSH services.
The health camps were held in villages Mooni, Sather, Kishanpur, Tharakalyal, Dhorsi, Goond, Basantpur and Tarda.
