Special Lok Adalat for Consumer cases held at Kathua

KATHUA, MAY 17: As per the Action Plan issued by J&K Legal Services Authority for the month of May-2024 and also under the radiant guidance of Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Kathua (also Pr. District & Sessions Judge, Kathua) Ashok Kumar Shavan, a Special Lok Adalat to settle Consumer cases was organised by District Legal Services Authority Kathua here in the District Court Complex Kathua today.

One Bench comprising Surinder Kumar Thapa, Special Mobile Magistrate Kathua and Neelam Bala Bhardwaj, Member District Consumer Kathua was constituted for settling the referred Consumer cases.
A total 7 cases were taken up for amicable settlement out of which only one case was settled.
