SAMBA, DECEMBER 18: The District Administration Samba, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Samba, Rajesh Sharma, organized a Special Voter Enrollment Camp at Block Rajpura.
The initiative was conducted under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program, aiming to ensure maximum voter participation and update the electoral rolls as part of the ongoing Special Summary Revision (SSR) of Panchayat electoral roll.
The program saw the presence of senior officials, including the Deputy District Election Officer, SDM Ghagwal, Tehsildar Rajpura and BDO Rajpura among others.
During the camp, officials facilitated new voter registrations and addressed necessary corrections in voter details. Citizens were urged to verify their details in the electoral rolls, make updates wherever necessary, and actively contribute to the democratic process by participating in the upcoming elections.
