RAMBAN, OCTOBER 10: In view of the upcoming International Day of the Girl Child, the Department of Social Welfare, Ramban, in collaboration with the District Youth Services and Sports Office (DYSSO), organized a series of events aimed at promoting both physical fitness and community cleanliness.
Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, DSWO Rahul Gupta and DYSSO Jagdish Raj Sharma, these activities are focused on raising awareness about the empowerment of girls and the importance of maintaining cleanliness.
Alongside sports activities like Kabaddi, a Safai Abhiyan was conducted near the Ram Leela Ground, highlighting the importance of a clean environment in building a healthy and empowered society. Participants actively engaged in cleaning the area while spreading the message of keeping their surroundings clean.
Through these initiatives, including sports and cleanliness drives, Ramban is taking a significant step towards fostering gender equality and a cleaner, healthier community for the future.
