DC inspects arrangements for inauguration, unveiling of KDA Website and Calender at Picture Time Theatre

KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 21: To celebrate talent and musical prowess local budding artists, the District Administration Kishtwar is going to start the Ground Auditions for the 2nd Session of Kishtwar Idol from tomorrow.

The ground auditions are scheduled to commence on 22nd February 2024 at various locations across the district, providing a platform to local artists to showcase their musical brilliance.

The Inaugural Ceremony is set to take place at Picture Time Theatre, TRC Kishtwar, marking the beginning of the first leg of ground auditions.

Adding grandeur to the occasion, the Inaugural Ceremony will also witness the unveiling of the official website of Kishtwar Development Authority and the Kishtwar Calendar.

These initiatives aim to provide comprehensive information to the tourists interested in exploring the beauty of District Kishtwar, besides highlighting tourism milestones, treks, and unique features through the single point access of services.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav, alongside CEO Kishtwar Development Authority Dr. Rishi Kumar Sharma, inspected the preparations for the event at the venue here today.

During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner ensured the accessibility and richness of content on the website, making it an informative hub for visitors to the district.

Reflecting on the success of Kishtwar Idol Session 1, he said the expectations for the second session are also high. He emphasized the need for conduct of efficient and effective ground audition to nurture budding artists.

The CEO KDA and the incharge of Cultural Cell and District Information Centre Kishtwar officials assured timely arrangements for the ground auditions.

Aspiring singers can get information about the date and venue for ground auditions on the social media handles of District Administration Kishtwar and District Information & Public Relation (DI&PR).

In his message, DC Kishtwar invited all talented individuals to attend the nearest audition venue as per their convenience.
