Srinagar: Senior Leader and incharge Kashmir division of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Sunil Sharma on Monday greeted Ghulam Ali Khatana, a Gujar Muslim leader from Jammu who was nominated for the Rajya Sabha by President Droupadi Murmu. A leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Tribal Morcha and Minority Morcha, a party spokesperson for Jammu and Kashmir and a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) worker, the 51-year-old is the first Gujjar Muslim to have been nominated for the upper house.
“Heartiest Congratulations to BJP ST Gujjar Leader Er Ghulam Ali Khatana on being nominated as Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha by President of India,” Sunil Sharma said in a tweet.(KNS)
