BANDIPORA, AUGUST 03: The Social Forestry Range Bandipora carried out a dual initiative aimed at environmental conservation.
Water body cleanliness drive was conducted in Nallaha Arin, followed by a plantation drive at Panchayat Gar Balhama Arin.
These activities were held under the theme “Ek Ped Shaheedon Ke Naam.” as part of Swachhata Pakhwada-2024.
The event saw active participation from prominent citizens, including DDC Arin Ghulam Mohiudin, Range Officer of Social Forestry Ajaz Ahmad, Block Forest Officer Ajas Ab Rashid, Principal Al Noor Public School Arin, besides students of Alnoor Public School.
The cleanliness drive focused on removing waste and pollutants from the water body to restore its natural health, while the plantation drive aimed to enhance green cover and contribute to ecological balance.
