JAMMU, AUGUST 06: As part of ongoing campaign “Ek Ped Shaheedon Ke Naam” under “Swachhta Pakhwada”, ACD, Jammu Dr. Vikas Sharma visited village Majua Uttami of Block Bishnah and paid Floral Tributes to martyr Naib Subedar Parshotam Kumar.
DDC Bishnah, BDO Bishnah and Tehsildar Bishnah also present on the occasion and planted trees in memory of the fallen hero.
The ACD also interacted with the family members of the martyr, felicitated them and lauded the valour of the martyr. Further, the general public was also exhorted to plant trees in memory of fallen heroes to always keep in mind the invaluable contribution of the martyrs.
ACD, Dr. Vikas Sharma laid stress on the fact that the initiative will not only to remind us of the sacrifices of martyrs but will also keep the environment clean for ourselves and future generations.
ACD Jammu also emphasised the significance of creating a better environment and nation for future generations. He stressed the importance of conserving water to ensure its availability in the future. Additionally, he encouraged individuals to contribute to nation-building and protection through their respective pursuits of life and professions.
