GANDOH (DODA), MAY 17: Government Higher Secondary School (HSS) Gandoh organized a grand felicitation ceremony to honour the meritorious students and their proud parents for the outstanding performance in the recently declared Class 10th and 12th examination results.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Arun Badyal was the Chief Guest. He appreciated the students for their hard work, determination, and consistent efforts. Students securing distinctions and first divisions were presented with appreciation certificates and mementos to acknowledge their academic excellence and to inspire them for future achievements.

Adding a cultural touch, students and faculty members presented vibrant performances that showcased the diverse talents within the school. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents, teachers, and community members, creating an atmosphere of pride and collective celebration of educational success.

Welcoming the guests, the School Principal Mohammad Ayub Sheikh projected different demands for strengthening the school’s infrastructure. He urged the authorities for the transfer of Health Department-owned land to the Education Department for the construction of a dedicated school building, highlighting the challenge of accommodating increasing student enrolment.

The program proceedings were smoothly conducted by Pardeep Kumar, Senior Lecturer (Urdu).
Among the notable attendees were SDPO Gandoh, Tehsildar Gandoh, and former Sarpanches Baldev Singh and Ishrat Ali, along with the teaching and non-teaching staff of the institution.
