SRINAGAR: The Four days training course for officers of Excise and Taxation department of Haryana government organised by J&K IMPARD from April 17th to April 20th concluded Wednesday.
Speaking during the valedictory function of the four days training course, Director General, J&K IMPARD, Saurabh Bhagat remarked that the collaboration of J&K IMPARD with prestigious institutions across the country has not only improved the quality of training but has also helped IMPARD to implement the directions of Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha and Chief Secretary, Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta in leveraging technology and mainstreaming the bureaucracy of J&K.
J&K IMPARD, being one of the top State Administrative Training Institutions (ATIs) in the country, has signed MoUs for knowledge exchange with more than twenty organisations including Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA).
The MoU with HIPA aims at utilizing the facilities of training expertise of both organisations – (HIPA and IMPARD) – to train State Services Officers. Acoordingly, Haryana Government deputed thirty Excise and Taxation Officers (ETOs) along with the Deputy Excise Commissioner for four days’ intensive training module on Excise, VAT, and GST at IMPARD Srinagar. During the Training Course the Officers received lectures from reputed faculty and guest speakers besides the officers were given extensive exposure of the field.
