RAMBAN, NOVEMBER 28: A Training Workshop was held today in the Conference Hall, Maitra to train supervisory staff for the seamless conduct of the upcoming OMR (Optical Mark Recognition)-based police constable recruitment examination. The exams are being organized under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary across the district.

The recruitment exams are scheduled on December 1, 8, and 22, 2024, with around 1000 aspirants expected to take the test. The workshop was aimed at familiarizing magistrates, observers, superintendents, and invigilators with the examination’s rules, regulations, and operational procedures.

The session was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Varunjeet Singh Charak in the presence of Additional SP Gourav Mahajan, DSWO Rahul Gupta, AD Employment Amit Kumar, Principal Polytechnic College Ramban Vivek Mahajan, and other senior officers.

The ADC provided a detailed overview of the critical norms and operational protocols essential for ensuring a smooth and transparent examination process. Presentations covered key topics such as handling examination materials, ensuring confidentiality, and adhering to strict guidelines to maintain integrity throughout the process.

Magistrates and observers raised concerns about managing large-scale participation and dealing with unforeseen situations. In response, the ADC and Additional SP emphasized strict compliance with guidelines and encouraged proactive measures to address challenges. Officials were instructed to prioritize fairness, security, and effective coordination among all stakeholders. Specific directions were given for managing impersonation cases, tampering with OMR sheets, and ensuring crowd control.
