Srinagar, Dec 13: The government on Wednesday said that two critical flyovers including Batingo Crossing (Sanat Nagar) and Bemina will be dedicated to the people in March next year, saying that the work on both the projects are going on at a pace.

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, said that there has been a substantial progress in the construction work of two vital flyovers, Batingo Crossing (Sanat Nagar) and Bemina Flyover and both of them are near completion.

These infrastructural projects are poised to significantly enhance connectivity and ease traffic congestion in the respective areas, he said while emphasizing the paramount importance of the Batingo Crossing, highlighting the ongoing extensive work at the location that is swiftly advancing.

Regarding Bemina Flyover, the Div Com announced a significant milestone, stating, “We aim to inaugurate the Bemina Flyover by December 31, facilitating smooth two-way traffic flow upon its opening. Our commitment is to ensure its completion prior to the onset of Chilai Kalan.”

“The implementation of these flyovers aligns with the administration’s objective to enhance the region’s infrastructure and provide a seamless commuting experience for residents and commuters alike.

We are expecting to dedicate both the flyovers to people by March next year,” he said—(KNO)
