Udhampur Admin conducts mass cleanliness cum sanitation drive under ‘Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ghar Swachhata’ Initiative at Devika Ghat

UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 11: District Administration Udhampur today launched a mass cleanliness cum sanitation drive under Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ghar Swachhata – Swatantrata Ka Utsav, Swachhata Ke Sang under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai at Devika Ghat, Udhampur.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation led by Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh along with officers and officials of the district administration. Prominent citizens, representatives of Beopar Mandal, civil society members and local shopkeepers also joined the drive, making it a collective community effort.

The ADC underscored the importance of maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and personal hygiene, urging all participants to keep their surroundings clean and inspire others to follow the same. He appealed to the public to avoid the use of polythene, maintain hygiene and conserve water resources to ensure a holistic and sustainable clean environment across the district.

Highlighting the objectives of the sanitation drive, the ADC called upon citizens to pledge their commitment to a clean and green Udhampur through active community participation. He further stated that the initiative also aims to instill patriotic values among the younger generation, fostering respect for the nation and its glorious heritage.

He emphasised that the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is a proud national movement designed to inspire unity and patriotism among every citizen of the country.
