UDHAMPUR, JULY 01: As part of the ongoing “Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan campaign, District Administration Udhampur today organised public outreach camp under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai here at Panchayat Krimachi.
GM DIC Udhampur Kishore Singh Katoch presided over the camp as chief guest, inspected stalls installed by wide array of departments, including Health, Rural Development, Agriculture, Animal and Sheep Husbandry etc, sensitized locals regarding various flagship govt. schemes for the welfare of tribals, motivated them to reap benefits under the schemes.
He also listened to scores of public grievances and assures for prompt redressal of public grievances and emphasizes that the aim of outreach camp is to ensure last-mile delivery of essential government services and the saturation of welfare schemes across tribal areas through focused & coordinated outreach.
To facilitate digital inclusion, a Common service Centre was also set up enabling residents to make enrolments, necessary corrections and updates in Aadhar Cards and other important documents.
The camps received overwhelming participation from tribal residents, who appreciated the DAJGUA campaign as a positive step towards inclusive development and easy access to government schemes.
