NOWSHERA, AUGUST 13: As part of the celebrations under the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign and “Vande Mataram @150”, a special programme for the recitation of the National Song “Vande Mataram” was organised today at the iconic Brig Usman Memorial, Jhanger, a Vibrant Border Village.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from the civil administration, Army authorities, local residents and students from the surrounding areas. Personnel of 14 Assam Regiment also participated in the programme, adding to the spirit of unity and patriotism.
Local residents from Sarya and Jhanger and students of HS Sarya and MS Jhanger participated with great enthusiasm, joining the collective recitation of Vande Mataram and expressing their deep sense of patriotism and commitment towards the nation.
The programme was organised to commemorate the enduring spirit of Vande Mataram and to reinforce the values of national unity, patriotism and respect for the National Flag. The historic setting of Brig Usman Memorial, Jhanger, further added significance to the programme.
The event was conducted with the active coordination of the civil administration and Army authorities, ensuring the smooth and successful participation of all stakeholders.
The successful conduct of the programme reflected the enthusiastic response of the border population, students and security forces towards patriotic initiatives and highlighted the spirit of “Har Ghar Tiranga” and “Vande Mataram @150” in the border areas of Nowshera.
