The event was conducted under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner, Harvinder Singh and the supervision of the GMC Principal Dr. Rakesh Bahl and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Om Kumar.

At the Blood Centre, the camp was formally inaugurated by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Ashraf Parvez. The event witnessed an encouraging turnout of voluntary donors.

Prominent attendees included Dr. Tanveer Ahmed (MS AH GMC), Dr. Sumat-ul-Khurshid (HOD Pathology), Dr. Mehwish Sheikh, Rishi Kumar Pandita (Red Cross Nodal Officer), Manohar Singh (Senior Lab Technician), and the dedicated Blood Centre staff who ensured the smooth execution of the camp.

In addition to the donation drive, awareness programmes were held at various health centres across the district. Health professionals interacted with the public to highlight the significance of voluntary blood donation, its life-saving potential, and the health benefits of regular blood donation.

At SDH Bhaderwah, 10 donors including CRPF personnel donated blood, showcasing their devotion towards the humanitarian cause.
