The event aimed to highlight the vital role played by plumbers in ensuring safe water supply and sanitation in society.

The trainees were sensitized to the importance of water conservation and sustainable water management. Demonstrations and discussions were held on modern plumbing practices, leak prevention and efficient water distribution systems.

The programme was attended by officers and officials from the Jal Shakti Department along with staff members and instructors of Government ITI Kishtwar.

During the event, speakers emphasized that skilled plumbers are essential guardians of water infrastructure and play a key role in maintaining public health and hygiene.
