2502 cases settled at Udhampur National Lok Adalat

  UDHAMPUR, MARCH 09: In Compliance to the directions of Jammu & Kashmir Legal Services Authority, National Lok Adalat was held today  here in District Court complex, under the Chairmanship of Haq Nawaz  Zargar  (Pr. District & Sessions Judge, Udhampur).

Six Benches were constituted in the District to hear the cases of all types. Bench No. 1 comprised  Haq Nawaz Zargar, Pr. District & Sessions Judge, Udhampur and Dinesh Gupta, Additional District & Sessions Judge, Udhampur; Bench No. 2 consisted of Slahuddin Ahmed, Sub Judge/ Special Mobile Magistrate, Udhampur and Adv. Nikhileshwar Singh  Panel Lawyer, Udhampur; Bench No. 3 included Vishal Bharti, District Mobile Magistrate (T), Udhampur and Adv Akhil Dubey Panel Lawyer, Udhampur; Bench no. 4  included Sub Judge Raj Kumar (Chairman TLSC) Ramnagar and Advocate K.D. Sharma (Lawyer) TLSC Ramnagar, Bench No 5 consisted of Madhu Sharma (Munsiff JMIC Majalta) & Adv. Mohan Lal Gupta; Bench no. 6 comprised Rekha Sharma (Munsiff) JMIC Chenani and Adv Tariq M Mughal  (Panel Lawyer) Chenani.

 A total of 2919 cases pertaining to different nature were taken up, Out of which 2502 cases were settled. A total Amount recovered was Rs. 6987082 /-.
