UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER 14: The 71st cooperative week celebrations has started in Block Majalta with Flag hoisting.
Chairman CMS Makhan Lal, Ex Sarpanch Thalora, Babu Ram & Ex Sarpanch Devi Bani, Balwant Raj, PACS members and general public participated in the event.
ARCS Majalta Kewal Krishan informed the participants about Cooperative movement and its benefits, while focusing on this year’s Theme i.e. Role of Cooperatives in Building Viksit Bharat
The ARCS also explained initiatives like Computerisation of PACS, their upgrading as CSC, adding new trades in their functioning as Jan Aushadhi Kendra, Food processing units, authorisation to open Petrol Pumps and Gas distribution agencies, the world largest grain storage plan etc to enable these to provide employment and other facilities to public.
The Chairman CMS also thanked the cooperative department for its recent initiatives like opening of two Jan Aushadhi Kendras, CSCs in PACS and transfer of Govt Land For World Largest Grain storage plan in Block Majalta.
Officials from IFFCO and JP Agro Solutions also participated in the program, spreading awareness about their fertilisers, and proper usage of Nano Fertilisers.
