BUDGAM, OCTOBER 13: Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather today chaired a high level meeting at Town Hall, Char-i-Shareef here to review the arrangements for upcoming annual Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani (RA) at holy Char-i-Shareef Shrine.
During the meeting, the Speaker directed the officers to ensure that no inconvenience is caused to the devotees during the Urs celebrations. He emphasized on the need for proper arrangements of essential services like transportation, clean drinking water, electricity, availability of essential commodities, and adequate security.
The Speaker urged the concerned departments to work in close coordination to provide a peaceful and comfortable environment for the devotees, enabling them to participate in the spiritual gatherings of the Urs with devotion and reverence.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Chadoora, other district and sectoral officers were present in the meeting.
