District Admin Bandipora Conducts IEC Awareness Programmes under Nasha Mukht Jammu Kashmir Abhiyan

BANDIPORA, MARCH 23: Continuing its outreach activities, the District Administration Bandipora on Monday organized a series of IEC (Information, Education and Communication) awareness programmes under Nasha Mukht Jammu Kashmir Abhiyan across multiple Panchayat of the district.

The programmes were conducted at Panchayat Halqas including Gamroo (Bandipora Block), Kehnusa-A (Aloosa Block), Konan (Arin Block), Guzerbal (Bonakoot Block), Chewa (Hajin Block), Pushwari (Naidkha Block) and Nesbal (Sumbal Block).

A multi-departmental team comprising officials and resource persons from Health, Police, Education, Social Welfare, Excise & Taxation, Youth Services & Sports and JKNRLM participated in the programmes.

During the sessions, the resource persons delivered awareness lectures on various public welfare themes and highlighted the importance of community participation and awareness at the grassroots level. The speakers also stressed coordinated efforts among departments to ensure effective outreach in all Panchayats.

The programmes witnessed active participation from local residents and stakeholders, who interacted with the officials and expressed their willingness to support such initiatives.
