The plans were finalized at a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma. The meeting reviewed department-wise progress and draft action plans for saturation of beneficiary-oriented and infrastructure schemes. Threadbare deliberations were held to ensure convergence and effective implementation of the initiatives.

Stressing the need for impactful execution, the Deputy Commissioner directed officers to ensure timely implementation of the finalized plans with regular monitoring and close inter-departmental coordination. He emphasized that the plans should be need-based, time-bound and result-oriented, focusing on tangible improvements in infrastructure, livelihoods and delivery of basic services.

Highlighting the importance of community participation, the DC called for active involvement of local stakeholders to ensure sustainability of the initiatives. He further instructed departments to carry out field-level verification, identify gaps and ensure last-mile delivery of all flagship schemes.

Pertinently, border villages Bobiya, Kadyala, Gajnal, Karol Krishna, Rathua and Gujjar Chack have been identified under the Government of India’s Vibrant Village Programme for saturation of welfare schemes and augmentation of development infrastructure.
